Judges
A pre-judging panel creates a regional shortlist based on five criteria: Innovation, Challenge, Influence, Viability and Memorability. Our shortlist is financially assessed through the Companies House service, with their investment status checked on Crunchbase.
The regional shortlist is then independently judged to select the 'top 7' winners in each of the three categories that will make up our annual '21 to Watch'. The categories are people, companies and 'things'. Each region has 21 #21toWatch winners.
